Downloading the Client Software

Note: BSI will notify BSI TaxFactory clients by e-mail when a new cyclic release is available for download.

Open the BSI Home Page ( www.bsi.com) in a web browser window.
Click the Portal Login link.
Enter your BSI User ID and Password login screen.
Click the My Support link.
Click the Maintenance link and then select Cyclic Bulletins.
Select the desired release version, if applicable.
To read the General Instructions for Downloading, click the Help button.
Confirm the cyclic version for download and click the Go button to continue.
To begin downloading the BSI TaxFactory Client Package, click the download link under the Client Package heading.
At this point, you may either open the client package from the web site or save the client executable to your PC by specifying the directory to receive the downloaded file.
If you opened the Client Software package from the web site in Step 10, follow the installation instructions. Otherwise, if you saved the client executable to your PC, navigate to the directory you specified in Step 10, and run the following: tf##client.exe, where ## is the release version. Follow the installation instructions.
Use your BSI User ID as the product serial number and when prompted for a password, use the password that was obtained from BSI Security.

Note: The installation of this BSI TaxFactory Cyclic upgrade will not overlay prior BSI TaxFactory Client Software installations. To uninstall the prior BSI TaxFactory Client Software, use Add/Remove Programs in Settings/Control Panel and delete the prior BSI TaxFactory Client Software prior to the installation of the new BSI TaxFactory Cyclic Client Software.
